Class 6 - Home Learning - Wednesday 15th July
Good Morning Class 6,
Happy Wednesday everyone! 😊👍 Don't forget Mrs Mason's Class 6 Zoom meeting today at 11.30am!
Valuing Your Achievements 🏆
Today we continue with our learning project focusing on your successes throughout your time at Richardson Endowed, giving you the opportunity to reflect on what you have enjoyed and achieved throughout your time in primary school.
Today's activity focuses on the qualities that make you unique and special.
Think about what makes you special. What qualities do you possess which make you unique? Independently, choose five which you think are the most important and write these down. Then ask your family to also pick five qualities which they think make you special. Come together and compare the qualities listed and get everyone to explain why they chose the qualities they did. Then pick your top three and write them down, explaining why you chose these.
If you haven't already had a look, there is also the online learning resource, ‘Be Ready to Be Remarkable.’ It is a resource to help prepare Year 6 pupils for secondary school, created in partnership by BeReady and Academies Enterprise Trust. It consists of three online content modules, designed to guide Year 6 pupils on their journey to secondary school.
Head: What is different?
Heart: What am I worried about?
In the bag: What do I need to remember?
We are encouraging all parents to use the package the BBC is providing through the Bitesize website. Links to other effective resources will be posted, such as the Oak National Academy. Please do not feel you have to do everything, we want to equip not overload.
