Christmas Catols at Asda 2014!

I had the pleasure of accompanying our choir this morning to Asda. They performed a number of carols for an hour and at the last count had raised over £150!

You could hear their wonderful singing the other side of the store and even the ladies on the bakery counter were joining in!

A massive thank you to our wonderful staff; Mrs Mason, Miss Hill, Mrs Walton and Mrs Evans for their hard work and skill.

Also, thank you to the PTFA, parents and grandparents for your support.

Finally, a huge thank you to our talented children for entertaining the community this morning and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit.

What a lovely time we shared with our buddies today;exchanging gifts. Year 6 gave their buddies a Polar Express ticket and an oil pastel picture of the amazing Northern lights. In return, their buddies had made year 6 beautiful cone decorations for their tress. Merry Christmas!

With Christmas looming, we thought it would be an ideal opportunity to put our creative skills to the test by hosting our own table decoration workshop. It was fantastic to see parents 'get stuck in' and you have to agree; the end products look amazing. We know where these table decorations will be on Christmas day! Well done Year 6. Our room smells amazing now.......

Well done Class R!

I just wanted to say a HUGE well done to Class R for performing so brilliantly in their first Christmas play! I am a very proud teacher!

Fantastic work Class R!

Phase 6 Letters & Sounds

Index
We've been looking at how to make nouns into plurals by adding 's' and 'es'.

Can you talk to an adult about how you know to add 'es'?

Images
Type 5 examples of words which add 'es' to make them more than one and earn yourself a merit e.g. fox to foxes and church to churches.

Try out this link to have a practise...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise/game/en16plur-game-plural-fishing
