Our last climb...

Happy times! I will definitely miss climbing on a Tuesday. It has been one of the highlights of my career. Thank you all for being so enthusiastic.

Class 4 Romans Creative Homework Task

Following our fantastic Roman day in school and to support our history topic, your homework task is to research and create a piece of work to show what it was like to live in Roman times.

You can choose to be rich or poor, a soldier, an emperor, a gladiator, a slave or any other type of person you have found out about.  Remember to think about what it would feel like to live in that time, what your day-to-day life would be like, what you would wear and what you would eat?

As we would like to display your amazing work, please complete this on the piece of A4 paper provided.

Please have your finished piece of work ready to be shared with the rest of the class on Friday 7th February.

Phase 5 Letters and Sounds with Miss Hill

Well done to my Letters and Sounds group who have been working really well on the following sounds this week - wh, ph, ew and oe.

This week I would like you to write a list of as many words that you think of which have the wh, ph, ew and oe sounds in them.

Please bring them in next week, good luck!

Newspaper Day in Class 6

Today was the first day of our journalism project in Literacy. The children in class 6 all worked really hard - especially in their warm up which was carried out in their new house teams. Take a look at all the enthusiasm- the room was full of it. Thank you Year 6 - looking forward to a great new day tomorrow!

It's nearly come to an end...

We have had another wonderful time climbing today. Everybody is an absolute wizz at their knots and belaying now, they'll be pro soon! If you see any of the climbers around school I would like you to give them a clap because today was the first day that everybody got to the top and I'm extra happy tonight because of it, it's jolly high up there! Only one more week to go...
