With the launch of the new website, we provide a "how to" guide to enable you to get the most out of the site.
How to find past articles that were posted
On the right hand side of the screen there is a list of the ten most recent articles that have been added to the website. Clicking on any of the links will take you straight to that article. However, if the article you are looking for is not in the latest list, you can either use the archive link in the menu at the top of the screen to look in the relevant part of the website, or visit the class area that the article was posted into.
How to add a comment to an article
Almost every article that is added to the website has the facility for readers - whether they be staff, parents, friends or pupils - to comment on them.
To make a comment, scroll down to the bottom of the article and you'll see some text with the name of the author of the article, the section of the website into which it has been placed, and the commenting option. If you do not see a commenting option, then comments cannot be left on that particular article. (Most articles will automatically close their commenting facility one month after the article was posted)
Click on 'comment' and on the next screen that appears, enter your name (pupils - only ever your first name please) and then your comment. Although you are asked for your email address, it is NEVER displayed on the website.
Your message will be read by the school, and if suitable for display on the website, will be added
