Welcome to Richardson Endowed Primary School

World Cup Fever!

The World Cup is upon us and some of Year 5/6 children were asked to play in a friendly match against Langley Mill Junior School, on Thursday after school.

Playing 9 a-side, we started the game well and scored early on to take the lead and they equalised soon after. At this point, we took control of the game with some excellent midfield work, creating chance after chance. Our staunch defence only allowed one more past them until we finally finished the game , after two 30 minute halves, victorious with a score of 8-2. Two players scored a hat trick and  it was a wonderful match, with some amazing footwork and great teamwork.  Thank you to everyone who attended and watch out, we definitely have some footballing stars of the future!
